Day 1 Arrival Queen Alia International Airport. From here you’ll drive towards the center of Amman for an overnight stay in a 3* hotel.
Day 2 (B) After breakfast you’ll start with a city tour in Amman. Visit the Citadel hill with the Temple of Hercules and the Roman Theater. From Amman you drive towards Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman cities outside Italy. Take your time to walk through the colonnaded street or enjoy the chariot races in the Hippodrome. After Jerash you’ll go to Madaba for some well deserved rest. Overnight stay in 3* hotel in Madaba.
Day 3 (B, L, D) Today you’ll start with a city tour in Madaba. Visit the St. George church with its famous mosaics that display the ancient map of the Promised Land and other monuments before you go to Mt. Nebo. Here Moses saw his final destination, but died soon after that. From Mt. Nebo you’ll go to the Dead Sea. Make use of the mud, float and have lunch at the lowest point on earth. In the afternoon you drive to the Dana Nature Reserve to spend the night. Overnight stay in Chalets with breathtaking views.
Day 4 (B, L, D) After breakfast you start with the first hike of your holiday! In the RSCN Dana Biosphere Reserve you’ll walk through the beautiful Wadi Dana towards Feynan. In the afternoon you can enjoy your lunchbox. Once arrived close to the Feynan reserve, the camp is set and dinner is made above the campfire. Overnight in tents (or under the stars).
Day 5 (B, L, D) From Feynan you’ll hike half a day towards Wadi Abu Sakakin where you’ll have lunch. After the lunch your transfer is ready to take you to the campsite in Wadi Araba where you’ll be surrounded by amazing sand dunes. On the campsite your dinner will be prepared at the campfire and you’ll enjoy a great sleep in this beautiful piece of nature.
Day 6 (B, L, D) From Wadi Araba we’ll transfer you to Little Petra. You’ll be dropped off in the area of the Qaroon rocks, which you’ll be hiking up. On top of this mountain your lunch will be served, along amazing views over the area. After lunch you’ll hike along and enter the Little Petra site via the backside, through a beautiful valley. On the way towards Petra you’ll have a nice dinner and camp outdoors.
Day 7 (B, L) After our breakfast you continue the hike from the Little Petra area to the Monastery (Ad Deir) in Petra. From here you’ll have a full day to explore the Red Rose city of Petra. Today would be a great day to visit the monuments further away from the Siq and don’t forget to leave some for tomorrow! Tonight you’ll stay in a 3* hotel in Petra, to freshen up after a long hike.
Day 8 (B) Today you have a full day to explore Petra. Enter the UNESCO world heritage site starting from the Siq, admire the Treasury and all the monument that you didn’t see yesterday. You also can climb up the high place of sacrifice to have a beautiful view over Petra and its tombs. Tonight you stay in a 3* hotel in Petra.
Day 9 (B, L, D) From your hotel in Petra you drive towards the breathtaking Wadi Rum Desert. On the way you stop for some beautiful panoramic views over the Petra area. In Wadi Rum you’ll be dropped off for a lunch and an afternoon hike (around 3.5 hours). An hike through magnificent landscape, along the Um Ashreen inscriptions and towards Mahad al Najem where you’ll camp and have a nice dinner.
Day 10 (B, L, D) From your campsite you continue to hike through the magnificent Wadi Rum. In around 3.5 hours you hike along the Invasheyeh sand dunes and the Lawrence House. After a nice lunch and break you continue to walk, to the Um Frooth Bridge (around 3.5 hours walking) and to your camp, located close to the Burda Bridge.
Day 11 (B, L, D) Start your day with a hike passing the Burda Bridge (around 4 hours hiking). Here you’ll have a nice lunch break and time to explore the area and rock bridge. You continue towards your camp in the Al Barra Canyon. Tonight will be your last day camping and dining under the start. Enjoy it!
Day 12 (B, L) Today is your last day of the Wadi Rum hike. This morning you trek through the Al Barra Canyon, along the Um Tawaqee Rock and through the Lawrence Canyon until you have reached the Disi Area. After a nice lunch your transfer is ready to drive you to Aqaba. Here you’ll be able to relax after an active holiday before returning back home. Spend your night in a 3* hotel in Aqaba.
Day 13 (B) A half day to relax from your hiking holiday. Spend your time souvenir shopping or visit a beach club. In the afternoon the driver will take you to Madaba for an overnight stay in a 3* hotel.
Day 14 (B) It’s the last day of your holiday, time to say goodbye. Transfer from Madaba to the Queen Alia Intl. Airport Amman.
